Introduction

Lost in 1656 was presumably found by treasure hunter Robert Marx in 1972, the Little Bahama Bank and salvaged by a treasure hunting company named Marex when problems with the Bahamian government lead to the interdiction of Marx's work.

Although a picture of its alleged keel has been published (Marx 1982) it seems that its cargo has never been found.

A Texas millionaire named Carl Alen is continuing the exploration and some of the cargo is in the Bahamas Martime Museum
