Introduction

Lost near Tróia, Setúbal, in 1589, and was probably extensively salvaged because it sunk in shallow water. It was found probably in the early 1990s and completely looted.

The site is said to have a substantial portion of the hull preserved, which is exposed after some storms, but it is otherwise covered.
